Made Biscuits and Gravy
Used a recipe form the "Joy of Cooking", with modifications, of course
For those without the "Joy of Cooking" (which I recomend, both for the recipes, and cooking theory). These were drop biscuits, meaning they have more liquid and you drop them onto the sheet to cook. The directions indicate you should cook for about 12 minutes at 450ºF, I think mine stayed in for 8-10. Just watch the tops for browning.
If you try this recipe, leave a comment on how it turns out.
For the gravy, I used the remaining beef liquid/cream, and added a package of soy sausages.
It was tasty.
There are some arborists at work across the street, or rather, there were about 2 hours ago. It wasn't the chainsaws that woke me up, rather their yelling. Grr. Oh well, at least the neighborhood is quiet 95% of the time.
